Workshop In Collaboration With (PAME)
Recently, PJMD, Ziauddin University held a workshop in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Medical Editors (PAME) on ‘Scientific Paper Writing and Grant Applications’.
PJMD is now indexed in Index Copernicus International(Poland)
Index Copernicus (IC) is an online database of user-contributed information, including scientist profiles, as well as of scientific institutions, publications and projects established in 1999 in Poland, and operated by Index Copernicus International.
They include the Journal’s Passports , information on editors, field of activity, publisher and indexation in the ICI Journals Master List database and evaluation by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (if applicable). Editorial offices that take care of scientific content distribution and apply principles of transparency also include the published issues, their contents and full texts of scientific articles (optional) in their Passports.
PJMD is also indexed in level 1 of international database

The register of Publishing Channels is an authoritative register of all publishers and journals where publications can count in the form of publication points in the financing system. NSD is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the register. NSD receives proposals for channels from institutions and individual researchers, and prepares proposals for decisions for channels at level 1.
PJMD to Y category and on HJRS
HJRS is a collection of research journals by HEC, that are categorized into three different categories – W, X and Y — within their respective knowledge areas on the basis of a number of internationally bench marked and recognized parameters that measure the quality of a journal. The relative position and category of each journal is computed by a propriety algorithm that is designed with the objective of promoting quality research across various disciplines.

Memuna Syed Bukhari Assistant Editor Pakistan Journal of Medicine and Dentistry (PJMD) Published by Ziauddin University was the recipient of Dr. Maqbool H. Jafary Training Scholarship for Junior Editors for the Year 2019. It was presented to her by Mr. Shaukat Ali Jawaid
